A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY - CHECKS
ISSUED 03/01/76-03/31/76.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the Clty of Santa
Monlca entered lnto an agreement, being Control No. 2138
(CCS) wlth the Bay Cltles Adjustment Company to adjust:
(1) Llabllity under the Public Llability Act of 1923;
(2) Its llabllity for the municlpal bus Ilnes; and
(3) Its liability for ltS automotlve fleet excludlng ltS
muniClpa1 bus lines: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contalned ln
the foregoing contract, the Bay Cities AdJustment Company
has effected settlements ln the amounts shown:

MONCIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the settlement of clalms ~n the
amounts heretofore shown 18 hereby rat1fled.
SECTION 2.
That C1ty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolut1on, and thenceforth and threafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 22nd day of June
