A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY - CHECKS
ISSUED 04/01/76-04/30/76.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the Clty of Santa
Monica entered into an agreement, belng Control No. 2138
(CCS) wlth the Bay Citles AdJustment Company to adJust:
(1) Llablllty under the PubllC Llability Act of 1923;
(2) Its liablllty for the munlclpal bus Ilnes; and
(3) Its llablllty for its automotlve fleet excludlng lts
munlclpal bus lines; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contained ln
the foregolng contract, the Bay Cltles AdJustment Company
has effected settlements ln the amounts shown:

amounts heretofore shown lS hereby ratlf~ed.
SECTION 2.
That City Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
