A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DESIGNATING THE PERSONNEL BOARD
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AS
THE APPROPRIATE BODY TO DETERMINE
THE DISABILITY OF DENNIS V. ROZSA,
EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, ~21023.6 of the Callfornia Government Code,
effectlve October 1973, provldes that contract1ng agencles of
the PubllC Employees' Ret1rement System are solely responslble
for determining the status of the dlsabll1ty of employees
thereof; and,
WHEREAS, the C1ty of Santa Monlca is such a contractlng
agency; and,
WHEREAS, Dennls V. Rozsa is an employee of the City
of Santa Monlca; and,
WHEREAS, the questlon of whether or not DennlS V.
Rozsa 1S dlsabled 15 In dispute.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOvIS:
SECTION I. That the Personnel Board 1S hereby
delegated and deslgnated as the approprlate body of the Clty
of Santa Monlca to make a determlnatlon of dlsabll1ty pursuant
to ~21023.6 of the Callfornla Government Code, effective
October 1973.
SECTION 2. That the determinatlon of the Personnel
Board of the Clty of Santa Monlca shall be b1ndlng upon, and
the same as a decls10n of, the City Councll of the City of
Santa Monlca.
