RESOLUTION NO. 4766(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MA~AGER TO
EXECUTE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS IN
CONNECTION WITH USE BY THE BOYS
CLUB OF LOS AMIGOS PARK.
WHEREAS, the Boys Club des~res to malntain a facility
at Los AmlgOS Park in the City of Santa Mon~ca; and,
>VHEREAS, Los AmlgOS Park 15 leased by the C~ty of
Santa Monica from the Santa Monica Unified School District; and,
WHEREAS, the Clty Councll has previously approved a
form of lease between the Clty of Santa Monica and the Santa
Monlca Unif~ed School Dlstr~ct and a form of grant of use
agreement between the City of Santa Mon~ca and the Boys Club of
Santa ~-1on~ca.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and 1S hereby
authorlzed to execute a lease agreement with the Santa Monica
Unified School D~strlct provldlng for a three (3) year lease
at Los Amigos Park ln the Clty of Santa Monlca, for a rental
of One ($1.00) Dollar per year payable at termlnation of said
lease, and that the Clty Manager be and ~s hereby further
authorized to execute a grant of use agreement wlth the Boys
Club of Santa Monica for the use of a portlon of said Los
AmlgOS Park by said Boys Club.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
