RESOLUTION NO. 4769(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING
CERTAIN MEMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING,
AND RATIFYING THE SAME.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That certaln Memorandum of understandlng
between the Clty of Santa Monica, California and Santa
Monica L~brarlans Guild, Local 1634, AFSCME, AFL-CIO,
particulars:
executed July 7, 1975, ~s hereby amended in the follow~ng
ARTICLE 2.06
ARTICLE 2.04
MEDICAL
INSURANCE
ARTICLE 2.06, as written ln sald
agreement executed July 7, 1975, lS
hereby deleted, and Artlcle 2.06
shall henceforth appear as follows in
sald Memorandum of Understanding:
Reserved.
ARTICLE 2.04 of said Memorandum of
Understanding shall be amended to
read as follows:
The City agrees to contrlbute as
of July 1, 1975, an increase ln
medical contrlbutions of four
dollars and eleven cents ($4.11)
for all employees covered by thlS
MOU. Effectlve July 1, 1976, all
employees covered herein shall
receive an addltlonal ~ncrease of
elght dollars and ninety one cents ($8.91)
per month towards medical lnsurance.

Effective July 1, 1977, all employees
covered hereln shall receive an
additlonal lncrease of five dollars
($5.00) per month toward med~cal
insurance. The Clty agrees that
such contrlbut~on amount may be
applled to such medical plans as may
be made available by the vlrtue of
City employment and/or unlon membership.
SECTION 2. That certain Memorandum of Understandlng
between the City of Santa Monlca and Llbrary Non-Professionals,
Local 1634, AFSC}m, AFL-CIO, executed July 7, 1975, is hereby
amended ln the follow~ng particulars:
