A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
RATIFYING THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS
FOR THE CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY
CHECKS ISSUED 6/1/76-6/30/76
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the City of Santa
Monlca entered lnto an agreement, belng Control No. 2138
(CCS) with the Bay Cities AdJustment Company to adJust;
(1) Llabl1ity under the PubllC Liabillty Act of 1923;
(2) Its llabl11ty for the munlclpal bus lines; and
(3) Its llabl11ty for ltS automotive fleet excludlng Lts
rnuniClpal bus Ilnes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority contained ln
the foregoing contract, the Bay Citles Adjustment Company
has effected settlements in the amounts shown;

MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the settlement of clalms ln the
amounts heretofore shown 1S hereby rat1f1ed.
SECTION 2. That Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of this resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be ln full force and effect.
