A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING AND RATIFYING CERTAIN
~ffiMORANDA OF UNDERSTANDING WITH
RECOGNIZED EMPLOYEE GROUPS.
WHEREAS, Sect~on 2106 of Ordlnance 801 (CCS) of the
Clty of Santa Monica requires the preparation of a wrltten
~ernorandum of understanding between the admlnlstration and
recognized employee organlzatlons, if an agreement can be
reached; and
WHEREAS, Sectlon 2.06 of Ordinance 801(CCS) at the
Clty of Santa Monlca further provldes that any such Memorandum
of Understandlng shall not be blndlng and shall be presented
to the governing body for determlnat~ons;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES P~SOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby approve and
authorize the Clty Manager to execute Memoranda of Understanding
between the Clty of Santa Monica and the representatlves of the
Santa Monlca Munlclpal Employees ASsoclation, Supervlsory Team
Associates, Santa Monica Firef~ghters Local 1109, IAFF, AFL-CIO,
and Santa Monica Pollce Officers Assoclation, respectlvely,
coples of which are attached hereto.
SECTION 2.
That City Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of the resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
