RESOLUTION NO. 4793 (CCS)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE TRAINING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN
THE POLICE DEPARTIIENT OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AND THE STATE OF CALIF-
ORNIA DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL.
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of California Highway
Patrol requires written tralning agreements from any agency participat1ng in
their tralning programs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Santa Monica desires
from tlme to time to participate in certain training programs sponsored and
administered by the Department of Cal1fornia Highway Patrol; and
WHEREAS, resolution of the Santa Monica City Council is required for
the 1976/77 and 1977/78 fiscal years.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Santa Monica City Council, as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the Chief of Police is hereby authorized and
directed to sign such training agreements when required for the fiscal years
1976/77 and 1977/78.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Monica
at a regular meeting this 14th day of September 1976.
