recognized emp~oyee organizations, if An agreement can be
reached; and,

SECTION 1.
The City Counci} does hereby approve
and authorize the C~ty Manager to executa a ~~morandum Of
understanding between the City of Santa ~kmica and the
representat1ves of the Santa Monica Munic~pal Employees
Assoc1ation/Professional, AdministrativefClerical, and
'Technical Employees, a copy of which is ,attached hereto.

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk ~hall certify to
the adoption of this ttesolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be 1n full force and effect.
