RESOLUTION NO. 4889(CC3)
(City Council Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING
SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES FOR CITY COUNCIL
AND COMMISS ION AGENDAS AND MINUTES.
WHEREAS, it has been found that there is public
interest in making available mailings of copies of Council Agendas
and Minutes; and
WHEREAS, it has been found that there is further public
interest in mailings of Agendas and Minutes of the various Boards
and Commissions of the City; and
WHEREAS, such mailings would result in a direct cost
to the City which can be partially defrayed by the imposition of
certain charges.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Any person desiring to receive copies
of City Council Agendas and/or City Council Minutes may do so by
requesting that his or her name be placed upon a mailing list
and paying the appropriate charge, as provided for herein.
SECTION 2. Any person desiring to receive copies
of Board, Commission or Co~ittee Agendas and/or Minutes may do
so by requesting that his or her name be placed upon a mailing
list and paying the appropriate charge, as provided for herein.
SECTION 3. The charges for this service shall be
as follows:
1. Council Agendas and Minutes -
$36.00 per year.
2. Council Agendas - $12.00 per year.
3. Council Finished Agendas - $12.00 per year.

4. Council Minutes - $24.00 per year.
5. For the Redevelopment Agency, the Parking
Authority, or each Board, Commission and
Conunit.tee:

Agendas and Minutes - $6.00 per year
Agendas only - $2.00 per year
Minutes only - $4.00 per year
For copies of single pages of the above documents,
the charge will be fifteen ($.15) Cents per page.
SECTION 4. Persons who are members of an official
public agency or commission or members of a City Board, COmmission
or Committee shall be exempt from the charges provided for herein.
Accredited news media representatives shall also be exempt.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 6. Resolution No. 4660 (CCS) is hereby
rescinded in its entirety.
