A RESOLUTION OF THE C~TY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING FILING
OF AN APPLICATION WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION, DIVISION OF AERONAUTICS
FOR CALIFORNIA AID TO AIRPORT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, money is available through the State Department
of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics for California Aid to
Airports: and
liHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has developed two projects
needing financial assistance and qualifying for these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. That the City Manager of the City of Santa Monica
is authorized, on its behalf, to submit an application to the State of
California for Californ~a Aid to Airport funds for Asphalt Paving and
Displaced Threshold: and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City
of Santa Monica the grant award, ~ncluding any extension or amendments
thereof.
SECTION 2. That the applicant agrees to provide matching
funds required for said projects (including any extensions or amendments
thereof) under California A~d to Airport funds and that cash will be
appropriated as required thereby.
SECTION 3. That grant funds received hereunder shall be used
in accordance with State regulations.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 27th day of September, 1977.
