RESOLUTION NO. 4933 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING
AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CTITY OF
SANTA MONICA AND l1ANAGEMENT TEAM
ASSOCIATION (MTA).
WHEREAS, Section 2105 of Ordinance 801(CCS) of the
C1ty of Santa Monica requires the preparation of a written
Memorandum of Understanding between the administrat~on and
recogn~zed employee organlzat~ons, ~f an agreement can be
reached; and
l~EREAS, Sect~on 2106 of Ord1nance 80l(CCS) of
the Clty of Santa Monica further prov~des that any such
Memorandum of Understand~ng shall not be binding and shall
be presented to the govern~ng body for rat~f~cation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Councll of the C~ty of
SAnta Mon~ca does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1.
The C~ty Counc~l does hereby approve,
and authorlze the City Manager to execute that certain
Memorandum of Undersnand~ng between the City of Santa Monica
and the representat~ves of the lianagement ~eam Association
(MTA) , a copy of wh1ch 1S attached hereto.
SECTION 2.
The C~ty Clerk shall cert1fy to the
adoption of this ReSOlution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be ~n full force and effect.
