A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING
AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETvmEN THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ~~D UNITED TRANSPORTATION
UNION LOCAL l785.
WHEREAS, Sect~on 2106 of Ordinance 80l(CCS) of the
City of Santa Monica requlres the preparation of a wrltten
Memorandum of Understand~ng between the admin1strat~on and
recognlzed employee organizat1ons, ~f an agreement can be
reached: and
WHEREAS, Section 2106 of Ord~nance 80l(CCS) of the
C~ty of Santa Monica further provides that any such Memorandum
of Understanding shall not be b~nd~ng and shall be presented
to the govern~ng body for ratlfication.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Clty Counc~l of the C1ty of
Santa Monlca does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1.
The City Counc~l does hereby approve,
and authorize the City Manager to execute that certaln
Memorandum of Undersatnding between the C~ty of Santa Monica
and the representat~ves of the Unlted Transportatlon Unlon
Local l785, which lS attached hereto.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall cert~fy to
the adoption of thlS Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
