A RESOLUTION OE THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT
AND USE OF ONE OR MORE DEPOSIT
ACCOUNTS WITH CERTAIN BANKING
INSTITUTIONS, AND AUTHORIZING
CERTAIN REPRESENTATIVES APPROVED
BY THE CITY TO DRAW DRAFTS ON
SUCH ACCOUNTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Santa Monica, a
municipal corporatlon, establishes in ~ts name, or in its
~ together with the name of Brown Brothers Adjusters, one
or more trust deposit accounts with the Security Pacific
National BanK, or such other banK as may be designated by the
Director of Finance-City Controller from time to time.
SECTION 2.
That Robert H. Nash, Director of
Finance-C1ty Controller, and Kay Watanabe, City Treasurer,
be and they are hereby authorized to withdraw funds from
sa1d accounts upon warrants and/or checks signed as provided
herein with signatures duly cert1f1ed to said bank or banks
by the City Clerk of the City Clerk of the City of Santa Monica,
and said banks are hereby authorized to honor and pay all
warrants and/or checks to signed, 1nc1uding those drawn to the
individual order of any officer or other person authorized to
sign the same.
SECTION 3.
That Brown Brothers Adjusters, by

and through certain signatories, approved by the City, whose
names shall be on file with Security P~cific'National Bank
(Santa Monica O~fice) and the Finance Department of the
City of Santa Monica be and each them is hereby authori~d to
withdraw from sa1d account or accounts upon checks signed
by them on their behalf and on behalf of the City of Santa
Monica.
SECTION 4.
That the said bankin~ institutions,
including their correspondent banks shall be entitled to
honor and charge the said trust account, or trust accounts,
for all such checks, drafts or~ther or~e~slor the payment
of money when such che~ks, drafts or qther o+~~<are s1gned
as provided here1n.
SECTION 5.
The City GL~k spa1l certify to the

adoption of this resolu~4on, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
