A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO ISSUE BONDS.
~VHEREAS, Assembly Bill No. 35, Chapter 797, amended
Section 33640 of the Health and Safety Code was adopted ~n the
year 1977 to become effective January 1, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the bill pertains to different types of bond
sales.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That from time to t~me, the Redevelopment
Agency may ~ssue bonds of any of ~ts corporate purposes.
SECTION 2.
That from time to time, the Redevelopment
Agency may issue refunding bonds for the purpose of paY1ng or
retiring bonds previously issued by it.
SECTION 3.
That this authority and approval granted
by the C1ty Council to the Redevelopment Agency shall apply to all
future sales and issuances, and shall extend until any future and
existing project or projects are closed or terminated.

SECTION 4.
The C1ty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
