LIABILITY CHECKS ISSUED IN
AUGUST, 1977
WHEREAS, on December 14, 19~6, the CITY OF SANTA
MONICA entered lnto an agreement, belng Contract No. 2289
(CCS) wlth the Brown Brothers Adjusters to adJust~ (1) Llablllty
under the Public Liabillty Act of 1923~ (2) Its llablllty for
the munlclpal bus llnes~ and (3) Its llabi1ity for lts automotlve
fleet excludlng its munlclpal bus Ilnes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contalned In the
foregolng contract, the Brown Brothers AdJusters have effected
settlements ln the amounts shown.

SECTION 1.
That the settlement of claims in the
amounts heretofore shown ~s hereby ratified.
SECTION 2.
That the C~ty Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolut~on, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be ~n full force and effect.
