OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
RATIFYING THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS
FOR THE CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY
CHECKS ISSUED IN FEBRUARY, 1978.
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1978, the CITY OF SANTA
MONICA entered lnto an agreement, belng Contract No. 2440
(CCS) wlth the Brown Brothers Adjusters to adjust; (1)
L~abllity under the Publlc Llablllty Act of 1923; (2) Its
llablllty for the munlclpal bus llnes; and (3) Its llablllty
and,
for lts automotive fleet excludlng lts munlc~pal bus llnes;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the author~ty contalned 1n
the forego~ng contract, the Brown Brothers AdJusters have
effected settlements ~n the amounts shown.
