A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OP THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 29 TO
THE OPERATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACTING
THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS
AND RECREATION AND THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, It 1S proposed to enter into Amendment
No. 29 to the OperatIng Agreement between the State of
Cal1forn~a, actlng through the Department of Parks and
Recreatlon and the Clty of Santa Mon1ca; and,
WHEREAS, It lS necessary for the Clty of Santa
Monlca to approve sald Amendment No. 29 prlor to approval
by the State of Callfornla; and,
WHEREAS, It ~s necessary to enter lnto sa~d
Amendment No. 29 to allow the City of Santa MonIca to
adm~nlster certaln lands acqulred by the State of Callfornla
for recreatlonal and park purposes and located wlthln
Santa Monlca State Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, the C1ty Counc~l of the C~ty of
Santa MODlca does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Amendment No. 29 to the
Operat1ng Agreement between the State of Callforn1a, actlng
through the Department of Parks and Recreatlon and the

CIty of Santa Monlca lS hereby approved by the C~ty CouncIl
of the Clty of Santa Mon~ca.
SECTION 2.
That the Clty Manager of the Clty
of Santa Monlca lS hereby authorlzed to execute sald
Amendment No. 29 on behalf of the C~ty of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adopt~on of thIS resolutIon, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be In full force and effect.
