FOR THE CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY

WHEREAS, on January 10, 1978, the CITY OF SANTA
MONICA entered lnto an agreement, be~ng C0ntract No. 2440
(CCS) wlth the Brown Brothers AdJusters to adJust; (I)
Llablllty under the Publlc Llablllty Act of 1923; (2) Its
llablllty for the munlclpal bus Ilnes; and (3) Its llablllty
for ~ts automot~ve fleet excludlng ~ts mun~clpal bus Ilnes;
and,
WHEREAS. pursuant to the author~ty contalned In
the foregolng contract, the Brown Brothers AdJusters have
effected settlements in the a~ounts shown.
