A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA FINDING
AND DETERMINING THE PUBLIC INTEREST,
CONVENIENCE AND HECESSITY FOR
ACQUIRING, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CONDEMNATION OF TRE FEE TITLE TO
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR A PUBLI,C
USE, TO WIT: A PUBLIC WAY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Clty Councll of the Clty of
Santa Monica flnds and determInes that the public interest,
convenience and necessity require the development of a
public way, to wit: an alley or street between Colorado
Avenue and Nlnth Street In the Clty of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. That the City councll of the Clty of
Santa Monlca finds and determines that in order to construct
said publlc way, the publlc interest, convenience and
necesslty require the acqulsltion by the Clty of Santa
Monica of the fee title in and to the real property in
thlS section hereinafter descrlbed. That sald real property
is situated in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los
Angeles, State of California and lS more particularly
described as follows:
"Towner Terrace'T~act LGts 107,
108 and 109.

The above described parcel
contain$ 23,590 square-fe~t, -more
or less."
The Clty Councll of the City of Santa Monica further
finds and determines that the acqulsition of all of the

SECTION ]. That the c~ ty CounSil of the Cl ty of
Santa Monica finds ana determines:

A. That a publlc way, street or alley is
a use authorizeq by law.
B. That the publ~c Interest, convenience and
necessity require the acquisitlon of said real property for
a publlc way, street or alley.
C. That the acqulsition of the tee title0to
said real property is necessary for the construction and
development of publlc way, street or alley.
D. That sald real property to be used for
said public way, street or alley is located in a manner
which wlll be most compatible for the greatest publlc good
and the leaGt private inJUry.
SECTION 4. That the City Attorney of the Clty of
Santa Mon~ca is hereby authorized, empower€d and directed
to brlng an action or actions in the name of the Clty of
Santa Monica in the Superior Court of the State of California,
for the County of Los Angeles, for the condemnation of the
