A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONIC~ APPROVING
THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN FUNDrNG
PERIODS FROM JUNE 30, 1980 TRRQUGH
JUNE 30, 1985, REGARDING THE PUBLIC
EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM~

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l.
That it does ~ereby give not~ce of
~ts approval of the extension of the funding period
expirat~on date for Pr~or SerVlce liabilities from the
date of June 30, 19BO currently provided ~n sa~d agency
contract w~th the Board of Administration, Public Employees
Ret~rement System, to a new date of June 30, 1985 as of
the €xpirat~on date of the funding period for prior service
--,
liabilities.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of th~s resolut~on, and thenceforth and thereafter
. the same shall be ~n full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 23rd day of May
1978.
