RESOLUTION NO. 5032(CC5)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DELETING CERTAIN PROPOSED STORM DRAINS FROM THOSE
PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED TO BE BUILT.
WHEREAS, on June 22,1965, and on June 29,1971, the City of
Santa Monica entered into agreements with the Los Angeles County Flood
Control District wherein the City would design and the County would con-
struct certain storm drains within the City of Santa Monica, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said agreements, most of the storm drains
involved have been designed and either built or contracted to be built, and
WHEREAS, the construction of the storm drains to date has used
most of the funds originally allocated for all the drains, and
WHEREAS, the remain1ng storm drains covered by aforesaid agree-
ments are of lesser importance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following storm drains are hereby deleted
from those previously authorized to be designed and constructed in the
aforesaid agreements:
1964 Storm Drain Bond Issue Project No. 7403, Unit 3
1970 Storm Drain Bond Issue Project No. 7450, Unit 2
1970 Storm Drain Bond Issue Project No. 7451, Un1t 5
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
