A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE CEFTIFI-
CATION OF ELECTION RETU~~S FOR PROPOSITIONS N
A~D P IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA CONSOLIDATED
WITH THE PRIMARY ELECTION HELD ON J~E 6, 1978.
WHEREAS, Propositions Nand P were submitted to the
voters of the City of Santa Monica at the regular Primary Election
held June 6, 1978, and,
WHEREAS, the total number of votes cast for and against
said propositions has been calculated and cert~fied to by Leonard
panish, Registrar-Recorder of the County of Los Angeles,
NOW, THEREFORE, the CIty Council of the City of Santa
Monica does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the vote total, as certif1ed to by
Leonard Panish, Registrar-Recorder of the County of Los Angeles,
shall be and is hereby approved and adopted as the formal vote
count regard1ng Propositions Nand P by the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That said vote count totals for Propositions
Nand P are as follows:
Proposit~on N
for: 15,267
against: 14,504
Proposition P
for 15,490
against: 19,648
The total number of ballots cast ln the City of Santa
Mon~ca 1S 37,081.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopt10n
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
