A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING
SECTION 5H OF RESOLUTION NUMBER
4740 (CCS) PERTAINING TO FEES FOR
COMMERCIAL ST1LL AND MOTION PICTURE
FILMING ON CITY OWNED PROPERTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l. Sect~on 5H of Resolution No. 4740 (CCS)
be and hereby ~s amended to read as follows:
"H. Educational f11ms. For the
purposes of th~s resolution an educat~onal
film shall be one wh~cq'provides
instruct~on, espec~a1ly ,for students,

will be made. However, any educat~onal

made for the purpose of sale, lease or

fee. The D~rector of Publ~c Works shall
have discret~on hereunder to determine,
pursuant to this subsectlon, whether the
object of a permit appl~cation is for
commercial or for educational filming."

SECTION 2.
The C~ty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of th~s resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be ~n full force and effect.
