A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
RATIFYING THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS
FOR THE CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY
CHECKS ISSUED IN JUNE, 1978
WHERE~S, on January 10, 197B, the CITY OF SANTA
MONICA entered into an agreement, being Contract No. 2440
(CCS) w~th the Brown Brothers Adjusters to adJust; (1)
Liab~l~ty under the Public L~ab~l~ty Act of 1923; (2) Its
l~ab~lity for the municipal bus l~nes; and (3) Its l~ab~l~ty
I
for ~ts automot~ve fleet excluding its municipal bus lines;
and,
WHEFEAS, pursuant to the authority contained in
the foregoing contract, the Brown Brothers Adjusters have
effected settlements ~n the amounts shown.
