RESOLUTION NO. 5064(CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ORDEFING ~HE VACATION OF THAT
PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN STRE~T KNOWN AS
THIRD STREET BETWEEN BROADWAY AND COLORADO AVENUE.
AND THOSE CERTAIN ALLEYS KNOWN AS SECOND AND THIRD
COURT BETWEEN BROADWAY AND COLORADO AVENUE, ALL IN
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Councll of the City of Santa
Monlca having heard the evidence offered in relatlon to the pro-
posed vacation of that certain street known as Third Street
between Broadway and Colorado Aven~e, and those certain alleys
known as Second Court and Thlrd Court between Broadway and
Colorado Avenue, as shown on the map of Town of Santa Monica in
the Clty of Santa Monlca, County of Los Angeles, State of
Californla, recorded in Book 39, pages 45 et. seq, of Miscellaneous
Records in the office of the Recorder of said County, hereby
finds fron all of the evidence submitted that the street and alleys
above re~erred to and proposed to be vacated and abandoned by
Resolution No. 5033 (City Council Series) are unnecessary for present
or prospective street purposes. For full partlculars reference
hereby is made to said Resolution No. 5033 (Clty Council Series)
and to Map No. 4201 on file in the office of the City Clerk of
sald Clty, which map is entltled, ~Map Showing Portion of
Thlrd Street, Second Court and Third Court, to be Vacated Under
the Provisions of the~Street Vacatlon Act of 1941", dated June 15, 1978.
