A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
COMMENDING JAMES D. WILLIAMS, CITY
MANAGER OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
WHEREAS, James D. Williams has served the City of Santa
Monica as Clty ~Bnager Slnce October 1973, and
WHEREAS, James D. Wi1l1ams has rendered exceptlonal serVlce
to the C1ty in hlS capaclty of City Manager, and
WHEREAS, James D. W1l11ams is resiQnlng from his pos1tlon
to pursue pr1Vate employment, and
WHEREAS, the C1ty Council wishes to express ltS appreclatlon
to James D. Wllliams for hlS exceptlonal SerVlce to the City;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. James D. Williams 1S hereby commended for his
except10nal serVlce as Clty Manager of the Clty of Santa Monlca.
The Clty Councll expresses ltS appreclation to James D. Williams and
wlshes hlm success ln hlS future endeavors.
SECTION 2. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of thlS resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
ln full force and effect.
