A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA CHANGING THE NAMES OF
OCEAN AVENUE AT THE 1900 BLOCK TO OCEAN WAY,
THE PROMENADE TO OCEAN FRONT WALK,
AND UNNAMED AUTOWAY TO PACIFIC TERRACE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica hereby changes the
name of the street currently named Ocean Avenue which runs on a north-south line
A@
between Pico Boulevard and Bay Avenue, one block west of Ocean Avenue at Pico
Boulevard, to Ocean Way, to change the name of the public walkway called The
A@A
Promenade to Ocean Front Walk, and to name the unnamed autoway which extends
@A@
between Appian Way and Ocean Avenue north of Loews Hotel as Pacific Terrace.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
