hereby grant and convey to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a municipal
corporation, that certain real property in the City of Santa
Monica, more particularly described as follows:

An easement for water distribution and transmission facilities in,
on, under, over and across those portions of Lots 11 and 13 of
Valley Crest Tract, per map recorded in Book 7, page 169 of Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, State
of California, included within a strip of land, 10.00 feet wide,
the Northerly line of which strip is described as follows:
Beginning at the Westerly terminus of that certain course described
as S 730 55' 26" W, in the Northerly boundary of that certain
parcel of land conveyed by the State of California by Director's
Deed No. D-A9890, recorded March 13, 1968 in Book D3938, page 634
of said Official Records; thence along last said Northerly boundary
N 730 55' 26" E, 133.73 feet; thence continuing along last said
boundary and the Easterly prolongation thereof N 730 26' 16" E,
to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 15.
The Southerly line ot said easement shall be prolonged or shortened
so as to terminate Westerly in the Westerly boundary of last said
certain parcel of land and terminate Easterly in said Northeasterly
line of said Lot 15.
