For a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknow-
ledged, LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DtSTRiCT, a body corporate and
politic, does hereby remise, relea~e and forever quitctaim to the CITY OF
SANTA MONICA, a municipal corporatian, all its right, title and interest
in and to a portion of that certain easement for covered storm drain and
appurtenant structures acquired by deed recorded in Book b4792, page 753,
ofi Official Records, in the office of the Recorder of the Gounty of
Los Angeles, insofar and only insofar as said easement exists on the real
property in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, described as follows:
That portion of that part of Lot 2, Btack 29,
Erkenbrecher Syndicate Santa Monica Tract, as shown
on map filed in Book 6, pages 26 and 27, of Maps,
in the office of the Recorder of the County of
Los Angeles, described in deed to ~os Angeles Gounty
Flood Control District, recorded in Book D4792, page
753, of Official Records, in the office of said
Recorder, lying southwesterly of a line parallel
with and 5 feet southwestertys measured at right
