DOUGLAS AIRCRAFT COMPANY, INC., a corporation,
does he.reby grant and convey to the City of Santa Monica,
a municipal corporation, an easement for storm drain pur-
poses in and to. that certain real property in the CUyof
Santa Mohica,County of Los Angeles, State of California,
more. particularly described as follows:
A six (6) foot .strip of land across a portion
of the Rancho San Vicente Y Santa Monica, as
per map recorded in Book 55, pages 13 and 50
of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of
the Recorderot Los Angeles County, the
center line of which strip is described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the
southeasterly line of the land described in
the deed to the Southern Pacific Railroad
Company recorded on August 11, 1894, as
Instrument No. 13 in Book 955, Page 142 Of
Deeds, records of the County of Los Angeles,
in the State of California, said southeasterly
line being also the.. northwesterly line of
ExpositlonBoulevard, 6Q feet wide, with a
line .parallel with an.d distant 27 .50 feet
measured at rightangles westerly from the
northwesterly prolongation of the easterly
line of Dorchester Avenue, 60 feet wide.. as
said Avenue is shown on the map of Tract No.
7993, recorded in Book 98, Page 89 of Maps,
records of said County; thence northwesterly
along said parallel line a distance of 269.40
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave to the southwest, having a radius of
22.50 feet and a cehtral angle of 420 501 00";
thence northwesterly along said tangent curve
16.82 feet to the beginning of a reversed
tangent curve, concave to the northeast,
having a radius of 22.50 feet and a central
angle of 420 50' 0011, thence northwesterly
along said reversed tangent curve 16.82 feet
to an intersection with the southeasterly
line of the 100 foot strip of land described
in deed recorded .in Book 40, Page 282 of
Deeds, records of said County.
The sidelines of said 6 foot strip to
be lengthened or sl:)ortened to terminate on
the south at said northwesterly line of
Exposition Boulevard and on the north at said
southeasterly line of said 100 foot strip.
