WHEREAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica, a
body corporate and politic in the State of California, was the original

~' Trustor and the Title Insurance and Trust Company was the original trustee,
and Louis L. Meitus and Sylvia Meitus, husband and wife as tenants in
common, were the original beneficiaries under that certain deed of trust
dated December 12, 1952 and recorded on December 16, 1952, in Book 40528,
Page 202, Official Records of Los Angeles County, California, and
WHEREAS, the'undersigned trustor is the present record owner
of the property described in and covered by said deed of trust, and
WHEREAS, the undersigned beneficiary is the present beneficiary
under said deed of trust, and
WHEREAS, the undersigned desires to substitute a new trustee
under said deed of trust in the place and stead of said original trustee
thereunder,
NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned hereby substitutes Louis L. Meitus
and Sylvia Meitus in place and in stead of Title Insurance and Trust Company.

OPTION
For $100.00 and othe-r valuable consideration, the undersigned
herewith grant to the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica, from
the date hereof to July 31, 1968, an irrevocable option to purchase Lot S,
Block 195, Town of Santa Monica Tract, for the sum of $49, 900. 00.
Should the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica exercise the
rights granted hereunder, an escrow shall be opened. ilnmediately at the
main branch of the Santa: Monica Bank at Fourth and Arizona, Santa Monica,
California, and the parties hereto agree that:
A. Taxes and rents will be prorated to the close of escrow;
B. Title insurance and es crow charges shall be divided between
the parties in the manner customary for similar transactions
in Santa Monica; and
C. The property shall be delivered free and clear of any
encumbrances as of the close of escrow.

County, California, has received from Beneficiary thereunder a written
request to reconvey, reciting that all sums secured by said Deed of
