an easement for street purposes to the CITY OF SAIfI'A MONICA, a municipal
corporation, in, over, and across that certain real property, described as
follows:
That portion of Lot 1, Morning Glory Tract, in
the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as shown on map recorded in Map Book 15, pages
150 and 151, in the office of the Recorder of said County;
beginning at a point on the northwesterly line of said Lot 1,
said point being distant 26 feet, measured along said north-
westerly line, from the westerly corner of said Lot; thence
southwesterly along said northwesterly line 14 feet to the line
parallel with and distant northeasterly 12 feet, measured at
right angles, from the southwesterly line of said Lot; thence
southeasterly along said parallel line 20 feet; thence northerly
in a direct line to the point of beginning; containing 140 square
