SUBJECT: Request for Authority to purchase Property for Speedway
Widening (Parcel K)
The City has a condemnation action pending
for acquisition of the property at the southeast
corner of The Speedway and Hart Avenue (parcel K).
The City has an appraisal on the property
in the amount of $17,800.00. The owner Samuel
Phoebus, through his attorney, has offered to com-
promise the litigation for the sum of $19,600.00.
I recommend that this offer be accepted.
