Referring to our letter of May 1, 1958 forwarding \ \
to the City of Santa Monica two executed copies of the ~
following:
1. Quitclaim Deed quitclaiming our interest
in Taft Way between Seventh Street and
Lincoln Boulevard under which City of
Santa Monica agrees to relieve Pacific
Electric of the obligation for the removal
of Railroad facilities between Seventh
street and Lincoln Boulevard except for
the removal of the tracks. Quitclaim also
includes provision that the City of Santa
Monica agrees to pave in the slots in
Seventh Street and Lincoln Boule~ard.
2. Quitclaim Deed of any interest Pacific
Electric has in the property between Tenth
Street and the extension of Ninth Street,
with the provision that the City of Santa
Monica will relieve this Company of any
obligation relative to the removal of the
track.
Would appreciate being advised if the City of
Santa Monica has executed the Quitclaim Deed and whether
the recording data 1s now available.
