RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT DEED FROM H. L.
KENT, MARY F. KEN'I;, AIm ROSEMARY EDITH HADLOCK.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'l'HE CITY OF SAl'l'TA :MONICA HEREBY RESOLVES:
That the annexed Deed from H. L. Kent, Mary F. Kent,
and Rosemary Edith Hadlock, granting to the City of Santa Monica
for street and highway purposes that certain real property in
the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, described as follows, to-wit:
, The Northwesterly 40 feet of Lot 14, Block 3,
.
Orchard Tract, as recorded in Book 60, Pages 15
and 16, Miscellaneous Records of Los F~geles
County, California,
be, and the same hereby is, accepted.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Commissioner of
Public Safety, ex-officio Mayor of the City of Santa Nonica,
be, and he hereby is, authorized and instructed to execute
the annexed Acceptance of Grant Deed, and that the Commissioner
of Finance, ex-officio City Clerk, ex-officio Clerk of the City
Council, be, and he hereby is, authorized and instructed to
attest the same and affix the seal of the City of Santa Monica
thereto.
'l'hat the Commissioner of Pu'blic Safety, ex-officio
Mayor of the City of Santa Monica, be, and he hereby i.s, autho-
rized and instructed to certify to the adoption of this resolu-
tion,and the. Commissioner of Finance, ex-officio City Clerk,
ex-officio Clerk of the City Council, be, and he hereby is,
authorized and instructed to attest the same.
