RESOLUTION ACCEPl'ING TAX DEED FROll[ TEE TAX COL-
LECTOR OF 'l'HE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.
THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA EEREBY RESOLVES:
That the annexed Tax Deed from the Tax Collector of
the County of Los Angeles, California, granting to the City of
Santa Monica all that certain real property in the city of Santa
Monica, County of LO$ Angeles, State of California, described as
follows:
Lot 9, Block 5, Erkenbrecher Syndicate Santa Monica
Tract, as per Book 6, Pages 26-27 of Maps, Records
of Los P~geles County
NE 35.5ft of Lot 5, Block J; SW 35.5ft of Lot 6,
Block J, both in The Palisades, as per Book 8,
Page 32 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County,
be, and the same is, hereby accepted.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Commissioner of
Public Safety, ex-officio Mayor of the City of Santa Monica, I
be, and he hereby is, authorized and instructed to execute the
annexed Acceptance of Tax Deed, and that the Commissioner of I
Finance, ex-officio City Clerk, ex-officio Clerk of the City "
Council, be, and he hereby is, authorized and instructed to I
attest the s~e and affix the seal of the City of Santa Monica I
thereto.
That the Commissioner of Public Safety, ex-officio
Mayor of the City of Santa Monica, be, and he hereby is, autho-
rized and instructed to certify to the adoption of this resolu-
tion, and the Commissioner of Finance, ex-officio City Clerk, ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council, be, and he hereby is, autho-
rized and instructed to attest the same.

State of California, residing therein, duly commissioned and sworn,
personally appeared L. J. MURRAY,+known to me to be Commissioner
of Public Safety, ex-officio Mayor of the City of Santa Monica,
a municipal corporation, whose name is subscribed to the foregoing
Acceptance of Tax Deed, and he acknowledged to me that he executed
the same on behalf of said City of Santa I\1onica, pursuant to a re-
solution duly adopted by the City Council of said City, and on
said 26th day of August , 1942, personally appeared before
me~ D., C. FREEMAN, known to me to be the Commissioner of Finance,
ex-officio CityOlerk, ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of
