RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM BEN C.
SHELDON MlD EDITH B. SHELDON, HUSBAND AND WIFE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MOlnCA HEREBY RESOLVES:
That the annexed Quit Claim Deed from Ben C. Sheldon
and Edith B. Sheldon, husband and wife, granting to the City of
Santa Monica all that real property situated in the City of Santa
Monica, County of Los P~geles, State of California, described as
follows:
Lots 16 and 17, Block 37, East Santa Monica Tract,
as per map recorded in Book 17, Page 95 of Miscel-
laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
be, and the same is, hereby accepted.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Commissioner of Finance,
ex-officio Acting Mayor of the City of Santa Monica, be, and he
hereby is, authorized and instructed to execute the annexed
Quit Claim Deed, and that the Commissioner of Public Works be, and
he hereby is, authorized and instructed to attest the same and
affix the seal of the City of Santa Monica thereto.
That the Commissioner of Finance, ex-officio Acting
Mayor of the City of Santa Monica, be, and he hereby Is, autho-
rized and instructed to certify to the adoption of this resolution,
and the Commissioner of Public Works be, and he hereby is, autho-
rized and instructed to attest the same.

municipal corporation, whose name is subscribed to the foregoing
Acceptance of Quit Claim Deed, and he acknowledged to me that he
executed the same on behalf of said City of Santa Monica, pursuant
to a resolution duly adopted by the City Council of said City, and
on said ~!f day of AprIl , 1942, personally appeared before
me, W. W., LIKEN, known to me to be the Commissioner of Public
