WHEREAS, , the Southern California Edison Company
requires a Grant of Easement for construction and maintenance of
electrical equipment to provide continued service to the City of
Santa Monica;' and
WHE,REAS, in'order to provide the required service
the use of public property is required; and
WHEREAS,- Southern CalifornIa Edison Compa'riy.' desires
that the City grant an easement for the use of the pUblic
property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an easement is of
direct benefit to the city of Santa Monica,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

authorized to execute the Grant of Easement attached hereto and
