THIS INDENTURE, made this 8th day of August, 1977, by and
between the
SANTA MONICA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT,
Grantor, and the City of Santa Monica, a municipal corporation of
the State of CalifoTIlia, Grantee.
WITJ'.l'E S SETH:
THAT WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the SANTA MONICA UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT,
did on the 8th day of August, 1977 , in pursuance of its duly
published notice of intention and by virtue of Sections 39540 to 39545,
inclusive, of the Education Code, in open meeting by the unanimous
vote of all members of the Board present, adopt a resolution ordering
the dedication for the public use for Traffic Signal Loops purposes,
exclusively, of the property hereinafter described and authorizing, the
execution of this conveyance:
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the
S~~A MOMTCA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT,
does hereby dedicate and grant to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, an ease-
ment to be perpetual during its continued use, and the right to use,
the hereinafter described premises for the construction, reconstruction,
inspection, maintenance and repair of a traffic signal loops and
appurtenant structures, in and across the following described rea~
property:

Block 1, Bandini Tract in the City of Santa Monica, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 55, page 56, of Miscellaneous Records, lying North-
easterly of and contiguous to a line described as follows:

This dedication and grant is made subject to the condition that the
use of the said premises shall be confined excl~sively to the purpose
herein stated or necessary to the exercise of said purpose, and if at
any time in the future after the commencement of said use, the property
is no longer used for such purpose, it shall revert to the grantor and
its assigns.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto said grantee and its assigns forever.
