RESOLUTION ACOEPTING RIGHT OF WAY.
THE OITY COUNOIL OF THE CITY OF SAN'l'A MONICA HEREBY RESOLVES:
That the annexed Grant of Right of Way be, and the same
is, hereby accepted.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Commissioner of Public
Safety, ex-officio Mayor, be, and he hereby is, authorized and in-
strudted to execute the annexed Acceptance of Grant of Right of Way,
and the Commissioner of' Finance, be, and he hereby is, authorized and
instructed to attest the s~~e and affix the seal of the City of
Santa Monica thereto.
That the Commissioner of Public Safety, ex-officio Mayor
of the City of Santa Monica, be, and he hereby is, authorized and
instructed to certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and the
Commissioner of Finance, ex-officio City Clerk, ex-oflicio Clerk of
the City Council, be, and he hereby is, authorized and instructed
to attest the same.

acknowledged, hereby grent to the CITY OF SANTA tIONICA, a municipal
corporation, the right to excavate for, install, maintain, operate,
renew, replace, change the size of and remove water pipes, mains and
appurtenances and sewer pipes, mains and appurtenances for the pur_
pose of conveying and transportin'g water and sewage, and to use
the same for such purposes, over, along, under and upon that oertain
real property situated in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 32, 33, 34, 35,
36, 37, 38, and 39 of Block A, Wavecrest Tract, in
the City of Santa Monica, recorded in Book 18,
page 49, of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County.
A.:J.l water pipes, sewer plpes, mains and appurtenances shall
be located within a strip of land along the rear two and one-half
feet (2it) of said Lots; it being understood and agreed that the
parties contemplate the rear two and one-half feet (2it) of said
Lots as same shall be constituted after the abandonment of, and the
reversion of title to private ownership of that certain dedicated
alley situated between Pico Boulevard and Bay Street in Santa Monica,
California, and referred to in Special Ordinance No. 637 of the Clty
of Santa Monica, California, and dated March 6, 1940.
The grantors, their successors and assigns, are to fully
use and enjoy the s~id premises above described, except as to the
rlghts hereby granted and except that the grantors shall not place,
construct, or cause to be erected any building or structure of any
/# kind over the rear two and one-half feet (21tt) of sa.id.Lots.
