RESOLUTION NO. 2589
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRMJT OF EASEMENT
FROM SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, A CORPOR-
ATION, AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD
COMPANY, A CORPORATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA HEREBY RESOLVES:
That the annexed Grant of Easement from Southern Pacific
Company, a corporatlon, and the Southern Pacific Rs,i1road Company,
e. corporation#c'that certain real property, described in the annexed
Grant of Easement be, and the same is, hereby accepted.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Commissioner of Public
Safety, ex-officio Mayor, be, and he hereby is, authorized and in-
structed to execute the annexed Acceptance of Grant of Easement,
and the Commissioner of Finance, be, and he hereby is, authorized and
instructed to attest the same and affix the seal of the City of
Santa Monica thereto.
That the Commissioner of Public Safety, ex-officio Mayor
of the City of Santa Monica, be, and he hereby is, authorized and
instructed to certify to the adoption of this resolution, and the
Commissioner of Finance, ex-officio City Clerk, ex-officio Clerk of
the City Council, be, and he hereby is, authorized and instructed
to attest the sane.

to reimburse first parties for any and all assessments which may be levied

connection with the original construction or original improvements to
the street or highvra:y to be constructed or improv oed pursuant to this
grant over parcell, above described, it being the intent of this provision
that second party shall perform such w'ork of original construction or
original improvement at no cost or expense to first parties.
