6 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
6 That the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its
7 Director of Public Works, does hereby grant to CITY OF SANTA
8 MONICA, a municipal corporation, all that certain real property
9 situate, lying and being in the City of Santa Monica, County of
10 Los Angeles, state of California, described as follows, to-wit:
11 An easement for storm drain purposes upon, under
and across that portion of Lot 2 of the Moss
12 Tract, as per map recorded in Book 36, pages
64 and 65 of Maps, records of said County,
13 included within a strip of land 9.0 feet wide, lying
14 4.5 feet on each side of a center line described
as follows:
16 Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of
16 said Lot 2, distant thereon, 10.9 feet southeasterly
fram the most northerly corner of said lot; thence
17 Southwesterly in a direct line to a point on the
southwesterly line of said Lot 2, distant thereon,
18 4.5 feet northwesterly from the most southerly
corner thereof.

20 be prolonged or shortened so as to terminate in said .
