WHEREAS, on september 4, 1951$ the Clty ot Santa Monica
entered into a certaln lease agreement Witb tb.e Bay Cities Transit
Comparl7 designated. Contract No. 454 (CCS) j and
WHIREAS, said Contract No. 454 (ccs) gave the City
of Banta Monica an optlon to put"Chase certain real propet'ty in
tbe City otSanta Monica on and attel" September 4.. 1952,; and
WHBREAS~ the City Council ot the Clt7 of Santa Monica
ia desIrous of exercising its option under the provisions of said
Contract No. 454 to pUJ:"Chase the 8ald. realpropert7 tor the SUIl of
$135.000.00;
NOW. THEREFORE, THE Clft' COUNCIL OF THE CI.TY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1. '!'he City Council doe. Ml"Efby ..rei.. said
option etfeetive as of September 4.. 1952 and <I.clares 1 ts intention
to purchase the followlng <Ie scribed rea.l property:
Lots 4, 5.. 6 and 15 of Block '3, Band1ni 'l'ract
in the C1ty of' santa Monica, County ot Los
Angele.8, State of' Calitom1a.
SECTION 2. That the C1ty Manager be and he hereby is
author1zed to tender the sum ot $135.00.00 to the Le880l" to enter
into escrow, accept the grant deed and do all things necessary to
complete the conveyance at tile a'bove...described real property to the
City of Santa Monica.
SSCTION 3. That the City Clerk shall c.MitT to the
adoption or this resolutlonand thenceforth and thereatter the
