AGREE~1EN'l' FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA OF THE
STATE'S TITLE TO CERTAlir LANDS WITHIN SAID CITY AS PROVIDED
BY DIVISION 1, PART 6, CHAPTER 8, ARTICLES 1 AND 2 OF THE
REVENUE AND TAXA'rION CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

1952, by and between the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF T1 COU1JTY
OF LOS ANGELES, State of California, and the CITY OF SANTA
MONICA, a municipal corporation, State of California, subjeot
to the approval of the State Controller of the State of
California,
WITNESSETH:
THAT, WHEREAS, there is situated 1~ the City of Santa
Monica, a parcel of real property which haa been non-revenue
producing for many years, and in all instances for six (6)
years or more, and which is tax-deeded to the State of
California for delinquent taxes; and which the City deeires
to acquire for public purposes, to-wit: Public street; and
WHEREAS, such deed to the State includes taxes levied
by the City of Santa Monica~ the taxes of which are collected
by County officers;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby mutually agreed as follows:
l. That as provided by the provisions of the Revenue
and Taxation Code, the cost of giving the notice or this
agreement shall be paid by the City of Santa Monica.
2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Los Angeles agrees to sell to the City of Santa Monica, the
property hereinafter set out in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, Which shall not have been redeemed
as provided in the Revenue and Taxation Code, for the sum
set out after said property and called "County Selling Price,"
