FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That that oertain Grant Deed trom
aUTH GtNDLING to the City of Santa Monica, a copy of which
is attaohed hereto, whereby said RUTH GINDLING grants to
the City ot Santa Monloa all right, title and interest 1n
and to & portion ot Fa1r.ount Villas, in the City of Santa
Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of Oalifornia, as

County Recorder of said County, be and the same hereby 1.

Reference is made to a letter from Mrs. Ruth Gtindling, ovmer
of portions of Lots 3 and 18, and all of Lots 4 and 17, Fair-
mount VillaS, offering to dedicate to the City for alley
purpose a strip of land 20 feet wide by 195 feet in length,
across the rear of said lots.
The owner has improved, at her expense, the above strip of
land by grading and paving with 2 inches of asphalt concrete
pavement, all in confo~nity with City specifications.
Following is a description of the land proposed to be dedicated,
as shown on the attached map:
That portion of Fairraount Villas, in the City of Santa
Monica, County of Los Angeles, state of California, as
recorded in Book 7, page 99 of Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly co~ner of Lot 1,
Tract No. 11783, as recorded in Book 216, page 49 of
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County; thence northwesterly, along the northwesterly
prolongation of the northeasterly line of said Lot 1
