EASEMENT.FOR PUBLIC ALLEYWAY
----
ASSOCIATED TELEPHONE COMPANY, LTD., a California corporation,
for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar ($l.OO), does here-
by grant unto the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, an ease-
ment for the purpose of right of way for use as a public alleyway
across and over the following described property:
All that portion of Lot 9, in Block 2l, of the
Erkenbrecher Syndicate, Santa Monica Tract, in the
County of Los Angeles, state of California, as per
Map in Book 329 of Maps, page 210, Official Records
of said County, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point of intersection of the souther-
ly and easterly boundary lines of said lot; thence north-
erly along said easterly boundary line for a distance of
five feet; thence westerly for a distance of twenty feet
along an imaginary line running parallel with said
southerly boundary line; thence southerly along an
imaginary line running parallel with said easterly
boundary line to a point of intersection with said
southerly boundary line; thence easterly along said
southerly boundary line to the point of beginning.
Said easement shall continue in full force and effect so long
.~ as said property is used as a public alleyway and until that portion
of the alleyway contained in the above described premises has been
lawfully vacated by duly constituted pUblic authorities, at which
time said property shall revert to the grantor or its successor in
interest in said lot.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF said Associated Telephone Company, Ltd.
