A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
CERTAIN PARCELS OF PROPERTY A~m DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY
TO EFFECTUATE SAID PURCHASES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
forthwith purchase the fee simple title to the real property
hereinafter described for the price of $750.00. Said property
is described as follows:
That portion of Lot 1, Block 28, Erkenbrecher
Syndicate Santa Monica Tract, in the City of Santa
Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 6, Pages 26 and 27 of
Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of said lot; dd")
thence North 440 1+5' \vest along the southwesterly
line of said lot a distance of 68.94 feet; thence
South 480 33' 50" East a distance of 60.00 feet;
thence South 690 27' l~' East a distance of 9.98
feet more or less, to the southeasterly line of
said lot; thence South 450 14' 26" West along
said southeasterly line, a distance of 8.16 feet
to the point of beginning.
Said parcel contains 175 square fee, more or less.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
forthwith purchase the fee simple title to the real property
hereinafter described for the price of $1,500.00. Said
property is described as follows:
The southwesterly 12 feet of the northwesterly 1/2
of Lot 1, Block 27, Erkenbrecher Syndicate Santa
Monica Tract, except the northwesterly 168 feet
thereof, in the City of Santa Monica, County of v
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map re-
corded in Book 6, Pages 26 and 27 of Maps, in the
office of the Recorder of said County.
Said parcel contains 684 square feet, more or less.
SECTION 3. The CitY,Manager is hereby authorized to
forthwith purchase the fee simple title to the real property

hereinafter described for the price 0:.' $4,400.00. Said property
is described as follows:
The southwesterly 12 feet of the northwesterly 150
feet of the southeasterly 225 feet of Lot 1, Block
27, Erkenbrecher Syndicate Santa Monica Tract, in " "

State of California, as per map recorded in Book 6,
Pages 26 and 27 of Maps in the office of the Re-
corder of said County.
Said parcel contains 1800 square feet, more or less.
SECTION 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
forthwith purchase the fee simple title to the real property
hereinafter described for the price of ,200.00. Said property
is described as follows:
That portion of the southeasterly 751 of Lot 1,
Block 27, Erkenbrecher Syndicate Santa Monica Tract,
in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, ~s per map recorded in Book 6,
Pages 26 and 27 of Maps, in the office of the Re- <,~
corder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of said Lot,
thence North 440 45' West along the southwesterly
line of said Lot a distance of 75 feet; thence North
451 15' East a distance of 12 feet; thence South 440
45' East parallel to said southwesterly l1ne, a
distance of 65.31 feet; thence South 670 32' 57"
East a distance of 10.85 feet more or less, to a
point in the southeasterly line of said lot distant
16.21 feet northeasterly, measured along said south-
easterly line, from said southerly corner of said
lot; thence South 450 141 II" \'lest along said south-
easterly line a distance of 16.21 feet to the point
of beginning.
Said parcel contains 920 sqnare. feet, more or less.
SECTION 5. The City Manager is instructed to do all
things necessary to effectuate the transfer of the above-
described parcels of property, and upon acquisition of the
deeds to said parcels, to record the same.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
