EASEMENT DEED
For a valuable consideration, receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, the LOS ANGELES ATHLETIC CLUB, a California
corporation~ hereby grants to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA~ a
municipal corporation, an easement for the purpose of constructing~
installing, repairing, operating and maintaining a storm drain,
in the following described real property:
A strip of land 5 feet in width under and
in Lot 6 of Tract 10724 as recorded in Book
174, Pages 5 through 11 inclusive of maps~
in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles
County, in the City of Los Angeles, County of
Los Angeles~ State of California~ immediately
adjacent on the south to a 10 foot strip of
land lying 5 feet on each side of the following
described center line:
Commencing at the most southerly corner of
Capri Drive~ 60 feet wide as shown on the
map of Tract No. 8978 as recorded in Book l27~
Pages 12 through 42 inclusive of Maps, records
of said County; thence North 760 381 1911 East
along the southerly boundary of said Tract No.
8978 a distance of 225.21 feet to a point on
the southeasterly line of Lot 1, Block 6 of
said Tract No. 8978; thence South 60 591 34"
East a distance of 320.92 feet to a point; thence
South 370 571 24" East a distance of 128.28
feet to a point; thence North 830 00' 2611
East a distance of 391.00 feet to a point;
thence North 60 59 I 3411 t'1est a distance of
93.20 feet to the True Point of Beginning of
the above described center line; thence South
rr40 04' 4411 East a distance of 457,5 feet more
or less to a point in a line which is parallel
with, and distant westerly ten (10) feet,
measured at right angles, from the westerly
line of Lot 37 Tract No. 17800 as per map re-
corded in Book 445. Pages 40 through 45
inclusive of Maps, said Records, said point
being the end of the above described center
line, the side lines of said five (5) foot
easement shall be extended or shortened at
their western extremities to terminate on the
last mentioned course bearing North 60 59'
3411 West and extended or shortened on their
eastern extremities to terminate on said line
which is distant westerly ten (10) feet from
the westerly line of said Lot 37.

Grantor reserves to itself, its successors and
assigns, the right to cross over or under or lay utility
pipes in and adjacent to the easement in the above described
real property, provided that such shall not interfere with
the said storm drain or the maintenance and repair thereof.
On completion of the storm drain, the City of
Santa Monica shall convey this easement, together with the
storm drain, to the City of Los Angeles.

SECTION 1. '-'hat that certain Easement Deed whereby the
LOS ANGELES ATHLETIC CLUB, a Ca1U'ornla corporation, d.. grant and
convey to the 01 ty 01' Santa Monlca, at aun101pa1 ce17itratien, an
easement for storm drain purposes in and to the prope:E.'ty described
in Exhibit A attached hereto be, and the same hereby is, accepted,
and the Ci ty Manager 1s direoted to reoord said Easement :Deed.
SECTION 2. The C1 ty Manager is hereby authorized and
instructed to do all things necessary to effectuate the transfer
of the above described property.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall oertify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
