to the CITY OF SANTA MONICA, a municipal corpora,tion, a
right of way for street purposes over and, across that cer-
tain real property sjtuate in the City of Santa Monica,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, and more parti-
cularly described as follows, to-wit:
Being the Northwesterly forty \40)
feet of Lots 8,9, 12 and 15, Block'4, Orchard
Tract as recorded in Book 60, pa.ges 15 and 16)
of Miscella.neous Records of Los Angeles County;
the Southwesterly two hundred ninety and thirty
hundredths (290.30) feet of the Northwesterly
